Yogita was born and reared in Narnaul, Haryana (India). She received her master’s degree in chemistry from Guru Jambeshwar University, Hisar, and her Bachelor’s degree from ARSD College, University of Delhi. She was awarded the CSIR-NET JRF fellowship in June 2023. She joined the BB Group in January 2024 as a PhD student, where she is working towards the development of near-infrared (NIR) porphyrinoid macrocycles as photothermal agents for photothermal conversion therapy. In her free time, she enjoys playing outside, listening to music, and doing arts and crafts.

Aaqiba Ahad was born and raised in Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. She received her Master's in Chemistry in 2024 from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, and completed her Bachelor's in Chemistry in 2022 from Sri Pratap College, Srinagar. She also qualified for GATE 2024 and JAM 2022. In July 2024, she joined the BB Group, where she will embark on her exciting research journey and she will be working on the Chemistry of Expanded Porphyrinoids and their Applications.

Vaibhav Dabas, UGC-JRF

Vaibhav Dabas was born and raised in Jhajjar, Haryana. He obtained his Bachelor's degree from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, and subsequently completed his Master of Science in Chemistry at Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET), Longowal. He was awarded the UGC-JRF fellowship in June 2023. In July 2024, Vaibhav joined BB group for his PhD, where he will be working on the modified porphyrinoid macrocycles. Beyond his academic pursuits, he engages in various recreational activities, including playing sports, listening to music, and traveling, thereby maintaining a well-rounded and balanced lifestyle.

Sachin Sahu, CSIR-JRF
January, 2025 onwards

Sachin was born and raised in Deoli, Tonk (Rajasthan). He obtained his B.Sc. B.Ed. degree (CBZ) in 2021 and his Master's degree ( specialization in Organic Chemistry) in 2024 from Adarsh TT College, Deoli (affiliated with MDS University, Ajmer) and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar PG College, Jaipur (affiliated with the University of Rajasthan), respectively. He qualified for JAM in 2021 and 2022 and GATE in 2024. Recently, he was awarded the CSIR-JRF fellowship in July 2024 session. In January 2025, he joined the BB group as a Ph.D. student, focusing on designing and synthesizing fused expanded porphyrinoid molecules as near-infrared absorbing dyes. Apart from academics, he enjoys listening to old songs and bhajans, traveling, playing cricket and chess, and more.
Sushant Singh was born and raised in Gola Gokaran Nath, Uttar Pradesh. He earned his Master's degree from IIT Bombay and his Bachelor's degree from ARSD College at Delhi University. In January 2025, he joined the BB group as a UGC-NET JRF fellow, where he will focus on the design, synthesis, and applications of pyrrolic macrocycles. He has an active interest in cricket, listening to music, and watching movies.
